I vow to utter the truth

by Angel Siribaddana

Deathbed of god I prepared for him to lie down

Last glass of poison I poured for him to gulp down

Last breath I sucked out of him, and ripped his heart out

His faithful servant I am I left him killed safe and sound

Beauty his pet I was, still shall be if he survived

Yet the black heart of mine would not have allowed

So innocent I looked in his eyes in white dress I borrowed

Shame it is the divine power was blind of how black I am

Arch angel I pushed off the rampart flew the trumpet the chaos bell

Terrified I was of battle, I cried on his lap for the angels that fell

I whispered in his ear hence he furious, banished Lucifer to hell

Toast I the victory with fallen angels that very night in hell

Behind him I lurked obediently destroying his work at his back

Ruined I his every desire someone else got whacked

I wept for him when he died I vow to thee I almost cracked

I was his little angel with horns he foresaw and wings of black
