The Universe

by Ansari Wahabdeen

The Universe

A magnificent show of heavenly splendour,
A  majestic illumination to awe and wonder.
Where are the galaxies hurtling through space?
An unfathomable   expanse, beyond the human race.

A million solar systems, what  an amazing show!
A stupendous sight, with  grandeur, galore.
From infinity to infinity the boundaries of the universe,
An enthralling pageant of eternal magnificence.

With sister planets for company, we orbit the Sun,
In the heaven's we're alone, life there is in none.
A pin head the Earth in the vast cosmos,
Who provides  the energy, what's the source?

An imposing  realm, an unimaginable spectacle,
Between darkness and silence, a moving carnival.
.Life in the cosmos, an incredible miracle,
In the crown of the universe, our Earth is a Jewel !
