Tinitus

by Namali Premawardhana

This screaming in my head

won't stop

This squirming in my gut

won't drop

This bubble in my heart

won't pop

and this is SO...

Annoying

I have an exam to Ace

I have footsteps to retrace

I have a life to re-grace

And I WANT OUT!!!

The deafer I grow

the louder this sound gets

The faster I run,

the harder this heart gets

The more I try, the easier it becomes

to lose
